यही पर पहली बार उनसे मुलाकात हुआ 
उनकी चुलबुली बातों  मे क्या बवाल हुआ 
बात हुई नजरें मिली इकरार हुआ 
उनकी जूठी चाय पर इज़हार हुआ 
अजी उस चश्मे  वाली से मुझे प्यार हुआ ll 

उनके हसी ठहाके का मैं भी भागीदार हुआ 
मिलने पर हाथ मिलाने का शिलशिला भी हुआ 
एक दूसरे से लिखित वो संवाद हुआ 
स्टेशन पर मिलने का भी करार हुआ 
उस चश्मे वाली से मुझे प्यार हुआ ll 

बात करते हुए तुम्हारा छत पर आना भी हुआ 
बैठे हुए लोगों का इशारा भी हुआ 
हवाओं के बहकावे में श्यामल आसमा भी साफ हुआ 
मेरे चाँद को देख वो चाँद भी जलकर के कई बार राख हुआ  
उस चश्मे वाली से मुझे प्यार हुआ ll 

बात बस दो की थी शोर मोहल्ला में हुआ 
उधारी थोड़ी से थी नीलाम पूरा घर हुआ 
आते जाते लोगो के मज़ाक का हिस्सेदार हुआ 
उस चश्मे वाली से मुझे प्यार हुआ ll
